Lisa Sandner was born in Frankfurt, and has subsequently lived all over the world: from Germany, to Africa, then London, Paris, New York. She completed her masters in Art History at the Sorbonne. Trained by the colours, patterns, and unique feeling of the handmade since her early childhood living in Africa, Lisa creates her work from the home and hearth, working on decorative objects in her much celebrated studio in Munster, Germany, where she now lives with her husband and three children.
